We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, energetic and fun individual who is passionate about providing high quality care for children. The successful applicant will work within our loving Nursery, which is part of Coopers Edge School; a nurturing environment where staff are fully supported to achieve the very best within their career. The ideal candidate will bring fresh and exciting ideas to the table and have that special ‘spark’ that children are drawn towards.

To support our vision we are seeking an EARLY YEARS NURSERY PRACTITIONER who is able to fully support the Headteacher and school team in achieving our vision.

* able to multi-task and be independent in leading pupils learning across the EYFS

* able to demonstrate how you have supported positive pupil outcomes against all odds!

Coopers Edge School is a rapidly expanding community based, trust school which opened in September 2011. Although we face many challenges here, the school has a warm, inclusive environment that not only gives its pupils and staff every opportunity to achieve their best but also gives every member of the local community the chance to continue learning and growing.  We have an abundance of cutting edge ICT resources, a dance studio and a unique “village square” alongside an innovative MUGA- Multi Use Games Area – and an outdoor amphitheatre, animal enclosures and a mini forest school leading to meaningful learning by all.

Providing pupils with what they need to achieve their best is our top priority...meaning teachers who get the most up to date training, excellent TA Support, up to date technology, inspiring resources and a stimulating learning environment. Further than that though we plan to meet the diverse needs of our community…. meaning opportunities for every member of the community to come together, interact together and learn together. Priorities that resulted in us being rated “GOOD” by OFSTED.

This is a permanent position

SALARY GRADE 3, 37 HOURS PER WEEK, TERM TIME ONLY PLUS INSET DAYS

START DATE: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

MDSA Vacancies

To support our vision, we are seeking an MDSA, preferably with experience, who is able to fully support the Headteacher and school team in achieving our vision.

Are you:

* hardworking, calm, reliable and resilient;

* able to establish productive supportive relationships with pupils and staff ;

* have proven experience in behaviour management (especially at lunchtimes!) ;

* have experience in developing outdoor play activities within primary school

The position is for 8.75 hrs per week (Term Time Only). The working pattern is Mon – Friday 12.00-1.45pm
